Dr Charlotte Carey currently leads BCU’s Entrepreneurship research cluster, which is part of the CEIG research centre. Charlotte sits within the Marketing subject teaching team and in addition to UG and PG teaching leads on doctoral supervision development work for the school.

She has a creative background, starting her career as a self-employed audio-visual artist and film-maker. Charlotte has worked as a Researcher, Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and now Associate Professor in Digital Marketing within the Department of Marketing and Leisure Economies at Birmingham City Business School.
