A solo conference paper entitled: ‘How do you eat an elephant? Facilitating the development of skills of Critical Analysis: an emotionally intelligent approach’ was originally developed and accepted for presentation at the EAWAW (The European Association of Academic Writing ) 2011 Conference: The Role of the Student Experience in Shaping Academic Writing Development in Higher Education Wednesday 29th June – Friday 1st July 2011 The University of Limerick, Limerick, Ireland. While not ultimately delivered at the conference due to scheduling conflicts this paper is now under revision/expansion for prospective publication in the near future.
