Edward Johnson

Dr Johnson is a Reader in Public Policy. He has taught at Birmingham City University for more than 25 years in the fields of politics and, most recently, security studies.
He has written extensively on British foreign policy and on the role of the United Nations in international affairs.
Dr Johnson is the Vice Chair of the British International History Group and has served on the British International Studies Executive Committee. He is currently writing a volume entitled, The British and the Coming of the Cold War at the UN and working on the question of the British and the Veto at the UN.
