With over 14 years experience in animation, visualisation and education Kelvin Wong tutors on the Film & Animation pathway in Viscom, supporting both home and international franchises in Hong Kong and Bangkok. The merger and integration of the Animation course within Visual Communication allowed shared practices and trans-specialism with other subject route.
Keen interest towards new technologies, CGI, Projection Mapping, Application of 3D printing technology for animation production and visualisation. These interests towards physical conception were inspired from years of scale model building, referencing and research.
Students on the animation course have been recognised and winning various prestigious animation awards and screenings from The Royal Television Society Awards, The Worshipful Company of Clockmakers, CBSO Birmingham, Global Game Jam, Film Nation, Microsoft Imagine Cup, FlipFestival, Flatpack Festival, Kino10, Canadian Stop Motion Festival, Canterbury Anifest amongst others.
