Simeon Shtebunaev

Simeon is a Bulgarian citizen, who graduated from a dual Master's in architecture and town planning from the University of Sheffield in 2017. He has also gained extensive professional experience, having worked for Building Design Partnership (BDP) for three years on architectural projects in the UK and abroad. Simeon has also worked in conservation, education and on residential projects.
Alongside his studies, Simeon is a trustee of RIBA and Co Vice-President for Students and Associates. He is also a student representative on the RTPI General Assembly until 2019. While being involved in these professional bodies, Simeon has co-instigated projects including the Commonwealth Urbanism Youth Manifesto and the Future Architects Network. Simeon has conducted research into live projects as a form of architectural education, and has also co-founded a summer school in architecture and design in his native Bulgaria. He is an active propagator for the involvement of early-career professionals within the decision making process.
