How Service Design Empower People with Arthritis Through Design Thinking and Innovation
The aim of this project is to provide innovative suggestions for services related to people with arthritis. Arthritis has become an important topic that the current society has to face. The project focuses on how to help people with arthritis alleviate symptoms and pain to live a comfortable life. Innovative design methods can not only become an essential tool in the field of design and art, but also help better solve the problems of social service. The project aims to fully understand the needs of users participating in services through design methods and design tools, and complete people-centered service innovation.
The purpose of this project is to recommend for services targeting people with arthritis. The project will implement people-centred design guidance. The researcher would use service design thinking to help existing services realize innovation. Service design is an interdisciplinary approach that combines different methods and tools from different disciplines. Through the guidance of the service design concept, the project could provide suggestions to improve the service centred on people with arthritis. design thinking can be a designer's way of thinking and design tools through a design perspective to identify people's needs as well as provide innovative solutions. People with arthritis have different needs and mentalities. The understanding and revelation of these different mindsets is the beginning of service design thinking. The project will consider the needs of people with arthritis from the perspective of design process, management model and medical treatment. The people-centred design concept will run through the whole design process and the final service delivery.
Arthritis, as a major chronic disease, has always been a topic when the social discuss how to live comfortably. This project hopes to propose an effective service system that will help people with arthritis to have more effective access to healthcare resources. Arthritis care can be provided anywhere, anytime, rather than being confined to a hospital setting. The goal of the project is to enable people living with arthritis to have a more comfortable and autonomous life. It is also about helping the target users to better manage their health so that they can move closer to a comfortable lifestyle. The study explores service design theory and design thinking by placing a human-centred approach to fully understanding user needs as a central design idea. Through the design method and design theory, the project aims to realize the innovation of health service centred on patients with arthritis.
