Research Hub

The Research Hub is located on our City Centre Campus, and is available to all Postgraduate Research (PGR) students, whether they are just beginning, or continuing, their research journey.  This dedicated space allows PGR students to come together to study, receive training, give talks and network, and provides hot desking for Research Office staff who work with PGR students.

Connect

Get comfortable in the communal research hub spaces, designed to  reflect and exchange knowledge and research.

Engage

The hub hot desks and quiet learning spaces allow for engaged study, where postgraduate researchers can delve into their projects.

Relax

PGRs can fuel their research in a dedicated kitchen space, kick back on sofas and network with fellow researchers.

Doctoral Research College

Our Doctoral Research College (DRC) is a non-academic department within BCU whose primary purpose is to ‘Enable Excellent Research’.

The DRC does this by working in partnership with all stakeholders, such as Postgraduate Research (PGR) students, Faculty research colleagues, other professional service groups within the University, and your study’s host Faculty.

City South PGR Hub

Our City South campus has a postgraduate researcher hub in SCT237 in our Seacole Building, with hot desks and standing desks in fully networked workstations, meeting rooms, pods, and collaboration spaces.
