Neil joined BCU as an Associate Professor in January 2024 after twelve years at the Coventry University and is the joint cluster lead for Sport and Exercise Sciences research.
Neil is also an accredited BASES Sport and Exercise Scientist, a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and holds Chartered Scientist status with the Science Council. He has over 20 years’ experience working with elite and recreational athletes, as well as commercial companies.
His broad areas of expertise and research focus on nutrition and physiology and has co-authored more than 70 peer-reviewed journal articles.
