Francesco Dimundo

Francesco is a BSc, MSc, PgCert HEA, Strength and Conditioning specialist with more than seven years of experience in high performance training for sports including Olympic taekwondo, boxing, football, rugby, track and field, volleyball and Olympic weightlifting. He started his career in the sector of sport science after completed a satisfactory 15 years as taekwondo athlete competing at different national and international levels.
Along with his practical experience in the industry, Francesco worked both for an Italian and an English university, Università degli Studi di Bari and De Montfort University where he taught as lecturer.
Francesco is currently a funded PhD student at Birmingham City University, researching about the topic of talent identification and development in professional rugby union. He also works as strength and conditioning coach and sport scientist.
