Mariel teaches on Introduction to Psychology, Contemporary Issues and Applied Psychology, and the Psychology of Popular Images modules. She also guest lectures on other Health Psychology and Psychopathology related modules.

• Developing behavioral nudge interventions to promote fruit and vegetable selection and consumption in Gwynedd (North Wales) Primary Schools at Lunchtime.
• Mariel is also working with a team at BCU to investigate the influence of self-compassion on health behaviours, such as eating, exercise, sexual health, and adherence to covid-19 policy.
