Rowing
BCU Rowing aim to provide high quality rowing and fitness training for all ages and genders, with any level of existing experience. From complete beginners to experienced rowers, the club continually aims to develop a strong team and family spirit, attending regular land and water training sessions, socials and races as a squad. The team also hold close bonds with all other members of BCU Sport, socialising and training alongside them, along with supporting one another at fixtures and events.
Throughout the year the club take part in BUCS events across the country (both indoor and outdoor) where applicable. These events are always well attended and enable all the hard work that takes place each week to be put into practice.
The club train at Edgbaston Reservoir and utilise the facilities of Birmingham Rowing Club (BRC). Being a BCU Sports Club Member also gives rowers access to BRC for the year for that extra training and competitive edge.
Whether you’ve never set foot in a boat before, or are a seasoned rower, get in touch with the club to find out how you could get involved.
