Enrolment

When can I enrol on my course?

An invitation to enrol will be emailed to your personal email address.

I have been offered a place at BCU but have not received an email inviting me to enrol, what should I do?

Firstly, check that you have accepted your unconditional offer. Then check your junk mail.

How do I enrol?

You can and should, complete your online enrolment tasks before you start your course and many students will be able to fully enrol online.

Some students will need to book an on-campus appointment to complete enrolment. If you need to attend an appointment you will be able to book this in your enrolment task. All appointments will be held in the Enrolment Area, Mezzanine, Curzon Building at our City Centre campus.

When is the deadline to enrol?

You must enrol as soon as you receive your invitation to enrol.

The final deadline for enrolment is Friday of week four from your course start date. If you have not enrolled by this date, you will be withdrawn from your course and notified by email. For Student Visa holders the University will also withdraw sponsorship and report this to the Home Office.

Can I attend classes and BCU whilst I complete enrolment?

Absolutely! You must attend and engage fully with your course whilst you complete enrolment. You will have access to campus buildings and online resources whilst you are completing enrolment (otherwise known as provisionally enrolled). Failure to attend and engage with your studies could lead to you being withdrawn from your course (see Student and Apprentices Attendance and Engagement policies).

How do I know I am fully enrolled?

Once you are officially enrolled and registered as a student at BCU, you will receive an enrolment confirmation email.

When will I get my student ID card?

Your student ID card will either be issued to you during your on-campus appointment or will be available to collect from your Faculty Student Centre

Once you finish each enrolment task, the task will change to green to show that you have completed it. So, if you have completed everything, all your tasks will be green, and we will send you an email confirmation verifying you are fully enrolled on your course.

If the tasks are blue, it means a BCU member of staff may need to look at this task before they can complete this for you, so please be patient and we will check it as soon as we can. Please note that if you have completed the Tuition Fees task you need to make sure you provide the correct information or payment by the Friday of week four from your course start date. Why is there a dash instead of my Surname?

The surname is a compulsory field in our system, as you do not have a surname on your passport we have to fill this field with a dash. Since you do not have a surname on your passport, a dash may be used to indicate that the field cannot be left blank. This practice helps ensure that all required fields are appropriately filled out for system compatibility and accuracy.
