Social Work and Community Placements

As a student on one of our social work and community courses, placements are an important and compulsory part of your university experience. Placement opportunities will be embedded throughout your course. You will complete placements in a variety of settings to develop your skills and experience and prepare you for your chosen profession.

What's it like on placement?

We asked some of our students about their experiences on placement. They share their memorable experiences and offer advice for making the most out of your placements.
