Parkside
The Parkside Building is part of the City Centre Campus expansion and provides a state-of-the art home for the Faculty of Arts, Design and Media, incorporating the Parkside Media House.
Traditional Print workshop
This workshop offers a range of traditional printmaking techniques that include screen printing, drypoint, collograph, lino, mono printing, book binding and letter press. It has equipment and facilities that span 3 centuries of craft and traditional practice. The equipment ranges from hot foiling press to vintage hand operated printing presses and gateway print making processes, such as rubber stamping, kitchen lithography and styrene printing.
6 Radio studios
Our radio studios can work independently, or be linked together to form a radio station. It is possible to get audio from any part of our media building.
Photography studio
Our high spec and fully equipped photography studios can be used collaboratively across the creative courses.
Gallery suite
Where production, lighting, camera control, graphics and Autocue are controlled. We have broadcast-standard Sony monitors and three of their new full-HD digital vision mixing desks
Filming and TV Studios
The Parkside building boasts four film and TV studios, three of which are able to do live multi-camera production and all studios (TV and radio) can be interconnected.
The fourth is a green screen studio for recording material that will then have CGI (computer-generated imagery) added to form the final image. Plus a BOLT JR+ camera rig.
3D CAD lab
Our 3D CAD Lab includes 3D printers - perfect for scale models, prototyping and concept development.
Woodwork studio
Our woodwork studio gives you hands-on access to the tools you need to produce furniture and products, to scale architectural models
Architecture Studios
Our Architecture studios are flexible spaces, perfect for individual and group work.

From a Starbucks in the atrium to a dedicated café on Level 3, the Parkside Building has a plethora of food and drink options. Whether you're looking for a drink, a bite to eat, or a full meal, you will be sure to find something to satisfy your cravings!
Fashion Design studios
Fashion Design students have access to sewing machines and other state-of-the-art equipment to be able to bring designs to life.
Print workshop
The print workshop features facilities for screen printing, dye sublimation and heat press, a dye room, digital printing equipment and biomaterials.
Embroidery workshop
The textiles embroidery workshop features our state-of-the-art ColourReel machine plus a juki, tambour hand-stitch and an embellisher.
