Partnerships and Collaborations
Birmingham City University's Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences is dedicated to life-long learning, ensuring our staff receive appropriate training throughout their career whilst working closely with our partners.
We aim to develop and enhance new and existing partnerships with the NHS and other health and social care organisations, providing ongoing support for business, innovation and enterprise development.
Find out about some of our current partnerships, initiatives and bespoke courses, and how you can benefit or get involved.
Work-Based Learning
We recognise that learning takes place wherever you may be working. Work-based learning, in association with the university, is becoming an increasingly popular way for practitioners to gain credit for their development within the workplace.
Consultancy and Endorsements
Consultancy
Our staff are available on a consultancy basis to enable organisations to develop services. We are also building our consultancy through our Wound Healing Practice Development Unit, which acts as a hub for education and service development within this speciality.
Endorsements
If you are holding an event, training day or a series of training events we may be able to help with your endorsement. This approach can add value to your event and be seen as a quality kite mark for marketing and recruitment purposes. If you require any information on any of the above, please email Keiron.Ronan@bcu.ac.uk or ring 0121 300 4282.
Facilities Hire
Our state-of-the-art facilities at City South Campus are available for hire to external clients at very reasonable rates, should you wish to deliver your own bespoke training to your staff. Our facilities include lecture theatres equipped with AV facilities, classrooms and meeting rooms of various sizes. Our ward and simulation spaces can also be hired for practical sessions, filming or photography.
