American Internship Programme

BCU's Centre for American Legal Studies operates the UK’s largest student internship programme to the USA. The programme was established in 1994 and to date we have placed over 500 students in Federal and State Public Defender offices, private attorney offices, American University Law Schools, law projects and organisations across the USA.

Look At Me Now - Ibrahim

Despite being told at school that he wasn’t academic enough to pursue a career as a Barrister, Ibrahim pushed himself and through hard work and dedication, he graduated from BCU with a Law degree before he completed training to secure a pupillage. He is now a Pupil Barrister for the Crown Prosecution Service.
