Interviewing courses
BSc (Hons)/MSci Computer Games Technology and BSc (Hons)/MSci Computer Forensics require applicants to attend a short informal interview with a course tutor before an offer can be made.
This interview will form part of the activities at the Applicant Taster Day. During your interview, we will typically ask you about your understanding of the course you are applying for and then move on to specific questions about your personal statement, e.g.:
- Your interest in your chosen course
- Questions about any relevant experience so far
- Reasons for applying to us.
You may also be asked more open-ended questions about your present and future studies. Throughout the interview, we will be looking primarily at your skills and assessing your potential to do well at the University and on your chosen course. We will normally confirm offers within 2-3 days of your interview.
If you are not able to attend an Applicant Taster Day, we may be able to offer you a phone call with a tutor on your course. You can book this through the Applicant Portal. Follow the link to the portal on the Overview tab.
