Types of study
What is an integrated Master’s degree?
An integrated Master’s degree is a four year degree course which combines three years of undergraduate study with an additional fourth year at postgraduate level.
The advantage of this mode of study is that it enables you to stand out from the crowd on graduation with a Master’s level qualification.
The first three years of study are normally identical to the equivalent BEng or BSc course. If you are successful in this, you will then complete a fourth year of study which will allow you to graduate with a Master’s level degree.
If you do not achieve the necessary standard of performance to continue onto the MEng/MSci, you can still graduate after three years with a Bachelor (BEng or BSc) degree qualification.
