Working in Industry

Our students work with local, national and international organisations to enhance their learning through placements, workshops, placements and guest lectures from industry professionals.

Learning in a hands on environment and from professionals that have a wealth of knowledge allows you to be as prepared as possible once you leave university.

Partnerships

Our partnerships with many leading professional sports clubs provide fantastic opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience working with professional athletes during their time at university.

Look At Me Now - Natasha

Natasha was a successful professional dancer until an injury forced her to reconsider her career in the world of sport. Despite concerns about becoming a mature student, she applied to BCU for a career change and thrived on the Sport and Exercise Science course. She’s now fuelling athletes at two of the Midlands’ top sporting teams.

Warwickshire County Cricket Club

We’re deeply proud to have a longstanding partnership with Edgbaston and Warwickshire County Cricket Club. Our home city has so much to offer, and we continue to partner with organisations both locally and nationally who contribute to the economic, cultural and social growth of Birmingham and the West Midlands.
