Inter-campus travel
Birmingham City University is a multi-campus university and there may be occasions when you need to go from one campus to another – so here are some helpful hints on how to do it:
Inter-site driving directions:
- City Centre Campus to City South Campus
- City Centre Campus to Alexander Stadium
- City South Campus to Alexander Stadium
Inter-site travel (trains):
- City Centre campus to City South campus: Walk from Millennium Point to Birmingham New Street station then take a train to Five Ways station. Short walk from Five Ways station to City South Campus.
- City Centre campus to Alexander Stadium: Walk from Millennium Point to Birmingham New Street Station then take a train to Perry Barr station, walk approx. 25 minutes to Alexander Stadium.
- City South Campus to Alexander Stadium: Walk from City South Campus to Five Ways station. take the train to Birmingham New Street then change trains to take the train to Perry Barr station. Walk approx. 25 minutes to Alexander Stadium.
Inter-site travel (tram):
- City Centre campus to City South campus: Walk from City Centre campus to Bull Street metro stop. Catch the tram to Edgbaston Village. Short walk from Edgbaston Village stop to City South Campus.
Inter-site travel (buses):
- City Centre campus to City South campus: Walk from City Centre campus to Corporation Street. Catch Buses 23 or 24 from Corporation Street to St George's Church stop.
- City Centre campus to Alexander Stadium: Walk from City Centre campus to Moor Street Queens Way. Catch buses X51, 51 or 52 to Perry Avenue and take an 8-minute walk to Alexander Stadium.
- City South campus to Alexander Stadium: Catch bus 23 or 24 to Corporation Street. Cross the road to catch buses X51, 51 or 52 from The Square Peg to Perry Avenue and take an 8-minute walk to Alexander Stadium.
