Summer 2022 ceremonies

Guest tickets

Guest tickets are now on sale (as of Wednesday 20 November) with specific booking links having been sent via email to all those who have successfully registered and reserved a seat for their ceremony.

As a graduating student, your ticket is free of charge and can be collected from the Registration desk on the day of your ceremony.

All graduates are initially eligible to book two guest tickets to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to bring guests. If you attempt to book more than two tickets during the initial sale period, any excess tickets will be automatically cancelled, and the purchaser will be responsible for any booking fees incurred.

Guest tickets cost £18.50, including a £3.50 booking fee. All children aged 18 months to 14 years must have their own ticket. If you don’t secure tickets for children, you may need to purchase additional ones on the day, which could be in a different area of the Hall. Please note that if seating needs to be reallocated for extra guests, a relocation fee may apply. For details on our policy regarding children attending, please see our FAQs.

Please note the following flat-rate booking fee charges are also applied by B:Music, Symphony Hall Box Office:

  • £3.50 per ticket for on-line and counter bookings

  • Lost tickets - a minimum charge of £2.00 will be made by Symphony Hall for printing duplicate tickets.

All tickets will be issued as E-tickets to the email address used when completing your booking. Please remember to share these with your guests ahead of your graduation so they can get to their seats as you will be separated when entering the Hall!

Please note that telephone bookings are currently not available.

Additional guest tickets

Additional guest tickets will go on sale from Wednesday 4 December from the B:Music Symphony Hall box office website. These tickets are sold on a first come first served basis, and are subject to availability and will be in a different area of the hall from seats booked prior to this date.

You will receive an email notification when these tickets go on sale.

Double award holders

If you hold or are due to receive multiple awards at BCU with graduation ceremonies scheduled on different dates/times, you may purchase up to two guest tickets for each event you attend. Please note that you will be required to pay for all guest tickets booked.

If both of your awards are included in the same ceremony, you can initially book up to two guest tickets, with the possibility of booking additional tickets if they become available during general sale.

All graduates are eligible to book two guest tickets initially to allow everyone an equal chance to bring guests with them, should they wish. If you have booked more than two tickets during the initial sale period, these will automatically be cancelled, and the purchaser will be liable for any booking fees incurred.
