Graduation Ceremonies
Guest tickets
Initial guest tickets (limited to two tickets per graduate and subject to availability) will be released on Tuesday 27th May 2025 from 12:00pm onwards. Booking details will be sent via email to students who have successfully registered and reserved a seat for their ceremony.
Graduate Tickets
Your ticket is free of charge and can be collected from the Registration desk on the day of the ceremony.
Guest Tickets
- Each graduate can initially book up to two guest tickets at a cost of £18.50 each (including a £3.50 booking fee).
- Children aged 18 months to 14 years require their own ticket.
- All tickets will be issued as E-tickets, which should be shared with your guests in advance.
Important: Booking more than two tickets during the initial sale period will result in excess tickets being cancelled and the purchaser will be responsible for any booking fees.
Additional Guest Tickets
Extra tickets will be available for purchase from Friday 4th July 2025 from 12:00pm onwards, (subject to availability), once the initial booking period ends. These tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability and will likely be in a different area of the hall. You will be notified by email when these tickets become available.
Access Requirements
If you or your guests have specific seating or access needs, please confirm these by Monday 16th June 2025, when completing your online registration. You can also email graduations@bcu.ac.uk if you need assistance with accessible seating, carer tickets or booking for guests who cannot book online.
Refunds
We advise you to consider your booking carefully, as refunds are not guaranteed. If you or your guests can no longer attend, you may request a refund by emailing graduations@bcu.ac.uk. If your place at the ceremony is withdrawn due to an unconfirmed award, you may be eligible for a full refund before the deadline.
Refund requests made after the Monday 14th July 2025 will not be accepted. Booking fees are non-refundable.
Double Award Holders
If you are graduating with multiple awards, you can purchase two guest tickets per ceremony. If both awards fall in the same ceremony, you can initially book two tickets, with the possibility of booking additional tickets if they become available.
