Andrew McKeown

After finishing college Andrew worked as a chain person for RJ Budge mining. In 2001 he joined the Royal Corps of Signals in the British Army becoming an Area Systems Operator. He left the Army in 2008 to gain a degree in telecommunication engineering, and between finishing his degree and starting his PhD he briefly worked as a technician in the electronics laboratory at Birmingham City University. In addition to his research, he currently teaches Foundation Year Electrical Science in the laboratory.
