Enrolment

Before you begin your programme, you must enrol as a student at Birmingham City University.

You will be required to complete an online enrolment task prior to arriving at the University. Details of how to complete this task will be sent to you at least one month prior to your programme start provided you have confirmed your acceptance of an unconditional offer.

If you have any difficulties completing the online enrolment task you can request help by clicking the help icon located at the top of each of the enrolment task screens.

As part of this process, you will need to:

  • Check your personal data is correct
  • Detail your prior qualifications
  • Confirm your current highest qualification
  • Check and correct the equal opportunity information
  • Confirm your programme and attendance details
  • Confirm tuition fee liability
  • Sign up to the University’s student declarations

When you enrol at Birmingham City University – either for the first time or as a returning student – you enter into a formal agreement with the University, with rules, regulations and disciplinary procedures on both sides

For the majority of students, you will be able to complete your enrolment online. However, depending on the programme you are enrolling for, you may be required to book and attend an appointment in order to complete your enrolment.  You will be required to bring a number of documents with you to this appointment.  Further details will be confirmed during the online enrolment process. 

Please note that it is a requirement for all international students to book and attend an appointment in order to complete enrolment.
