Chinese pianist Yinzhi Yuan currently studies at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with Pascal Nemirovski. He is the winner of Royal Birmingham Conservatoire’s 2025 Piano Prize, and many international competitions, including 1st place in the International Medtner Competition at Heidelberg and 3rd place in the International Magnus Piano Competition. He also gained 1st place in the Chappell Medal Piano Competition and 2nd place in the Kendall Taylor Beethoven Piano Competition – the most prestigious competitions held by the Royal College of Music.
Yinzhi has played concerts across the UK and the continent, including London, Manchester, Brexton, Salzburg, Heidelberg and Mallorca, where he was praised for his “dazzling virtuosity and maturity with an eclectic program” (Faxdepera, 2023).
In 2024 he graduated with a Master of Music in Performance degree from the Royal College of Music under the class of Professor Dina Parakhina.
